Have your first- or second-grader join us at the Gleason Library's 1st & 2nd Grade Book Club! Each month we'll meet in person at the Library to talk about our book of the month. After discussion, we will do a craft, activity, or game. Copies of the book will be available to check out at the library at the circulation desk on the first floor. This month's title is Barkus by Patricia MacLachlan. Registration is required; participants only need to register once for the entire school year. Our monthly  book club is supported by our wonderful Friends of the Gleason Public Library. The Friends is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation made up of volunteers interested in supporting and enhancing the programs, services, and materials available to our community through the Gleason Public Library. Because of your generous donations, this past year we were able to sponsor over 120 programs at the Gleason Public Library which reached over 2,500 people in town, in addition to museum passes used by over 800 patrons.
