Wednesday, August 76:00—7:00 PMFront LawnGleason Public Library22 Bedford Road, Carlisle, MA, 01741
The BackTrack Band is a live performing harmony-rich six-piece band featuring three lead female vocalists. Step back in time and enjoy the songs of the 60's and beyond. The BackTrack Band features songs of the 60’s girl groups, including the Crystals, the Shirelles, The Ronettes, Leslie Gore, and the British Invasion bands as well as many other hit artists focusing on the fabulous music of the 1960’s and 1970’s.
The BackTrack Band performs the rich multi-part harmonies and backup instrumentation that makes these songs so memorable. Appealing to all ages, these mostly well-known songs are great fun to sing or dance along with. Please bring a blanket or low chairs to sit on; feel free to bring along a picnic dinner as well! This concert is presented by the Carlisle Council on Aging and Human Services, the Carlisle Recreation Department and the Gleason Public Library.
Please note that parking at the Library is limited. If the Library parking lot is full, additional parking is available at the Carlisle Public School (83 School St.), the Post Office (70 Bedford Rd.), Center Park (Lowell St.), and Town Hall (66 Westford St.), as well as street parking on Church Street and School Street.
The event is made possible by a grant from the Carlisle Cultural Council.
