Let's get ready for our upcoming eclipses!
Amateur astronomer Steve Golson will talk about solar eclipses: what they are, what to expect, and how to safely observe them. With special emphasis on the upcoming annular eclipse (October 14) and the exciting total eclipse next spring (April 8, 2024). Every attendee will go home with a pair of eclipse glasses to use for the upcoming annular eclipse. This program is for all ages. This talk will now be held at Corey Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. due to high interest.
