Reception honoring Estelle Keast

All are invited to a reception on Monday, October 3, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Hollis Room of the Gleason Public Library to honor Carlisle resident Estelle Keast for her work on the creation, development, and production of the Carlisle Cultural and Health Series.

These popular lectures, in partnership with the Friends of the Carlisle Council on Aging and the Gleason Public Library, have run for 19 years under her leadership. They have covered timely topics with expert presenters from the fields of history, art, philosophy, current events, music, health with many health care providers participating from the area hospitals. She also developed the art and history lectures in collaboration with the DeCordova Museum for Lincoln and Carlisle.

Estelle is past president of the Council on Aging and Human Services, past president of the Friends of the Council on Aging, and a founding member of the Carlisle Youth Commission. She has lived in Carlisle for 51 years.
