Want to do some stargazing on a clear evening in Carlisle? Have you wanted to borrow our Library Telescope  but were unsure how to begin? This all-ages program is for you!

Join Marc Lamere as he shares what is observable in the night sky using both our library telescope and binoculars. We’ll learn how to  set up, align, and point our library telescope to see desired objects in the night sky.   We’ll also explore additional recommended resources to use when stargazing.

Our Library of Things Telescope and Binoculars may be reserved ahead of time and checked out for up to three weeks at a time.

Every attendee will go home with hands-on experience setting up our telescope and a copy of the latest Evening Sky Map.

Presented with the support of the Susan Zielinski Natural Science Fund.
